Contribution to College

The criteria here is really fleshed out in Standard 3. I believe that the evidence provided in Standard 3 reflects my sustained contribution to the college. As a quick summary, I have been a member of curriculum committee meetings since I began in 2008. I moved from a non-voting to a voting role and to the state-wide lead chair. I participated in a Simplex Session on how the Office of Instructional Technology can be better utilized to support online course development across the state.

Currently, I am serving on the strategy 1.6 sub-committee and have served on similar sub-committees in past years and previous strategies.

One of the bigger projects I was involved with during 2017 was the rollout of the new Learning Management System, IvyLearn. I became a superuser (peer trainer) for the Columbus campus and worked with four other faculty members to help ensure the smooth transition from Blackboard to IvyLearn. I developed training materials over various topics. I continued to be a superuser over the summer and fall semesters, along with teaching my full load of classes. I have attached a letter thanking me for this service, and a sample of the training documents I created.
